On the last day of school June 23, the NCS all-school closing assembly was a true celebration of the amazing year we had in spite of the challenges and obstacles we faced. More than 700 Nanaimo Christian School students, staff and parents filled the gym with beautiful worship. We celebrated the amazing hearts of both the Volunteer of the Year, Dan Morris, and the Principal’s Award recipient, Jenna Taylor. Then we celebrated our head principal, Mr. Sijpheer, with big farewell cheers before putting him in the middle of the gym and literally surrounding him with prayer and blessings on his next chapter at Richmond Christian School.
