Meet Mr. Ross Daugherty! Here are 7 things you need to know about him.

2) Before coming to NCS
Before coming to NCS, I spent 11 years teaching at Maranatha Christian School in Williams Lake, BC and 1 year substituting in St. John’s, NL. Before teaching I worked in a variety of ministry positions: youth pastor, pastoral care worker for a few senior’s care-home facilities, and a prison chaplain.
3) Favorite thing about teaching
What I love most about the type of work I do is instilling confidence in students and watching the expression on students’ faces when they feel successful about something they have completed.
4) If I were a crayon ...
The colour I would be is periwinkle because it is just a funny word to say and it is hard to say it without smiling. I bet you just tried to say it without smiling. Actually, it was also the first colour that came to my mind after reading the question.
5) Secret talent or party trick
Doing card tricks (even though my mom doesn’t think much of them)
6) Hobbies
Who has time for hobbies when you have four children and just moved to a new city? But I really do enjoy exploring new outdoor areas with my family.
7) God has been teaching me
One thing God has been teaching me this year is that nothing is impossible with God’s care and guidance (His providence) for my life.
