Nanaimo Christian School Early Care & Learning is a licensed preschool and junior kindergarten program where young children are given opportunities to learn through play and grow in faith.  It is home to approximately 60 students across 4 classes and is located on the NCS campus in the lower level of Building B.

 

Our approach

At NCS Early Care & Learning our goal is to prepare each child for kindergarten and make this first school experience a fun, positive spark that lights the fire of learning for years to come.  This is achieved by recognizing and utilizing each child’s unique strengths and helping them develop their social emotional skills.

 

Using a play based learning approach, together with the children we explore and learn through physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual experiences. Our activities are designed to spark creativity, inspire imagination, and develop sharing and team building skills.
