TUITION ASSISTANCE FUND

Give Someone a Boost

The NCS Long-Term Tuition Assistance Fund

A little lift can change everything in someone’s life.

Our school’s new long-term, interest-accruing Tuition Assistance Fund helps ensure that cost doesn’t stand in the way of a Christian education at NCS. It opens doors for families who might not otherwise be able to afford it.

Loving and serving others is at the heart of what we do at NCS, and we know it matters to you, too. Together, let’s give more families the boost they need.

Why This Fund

"When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality." Romans 12:13 (NLT)

Whether facing ongoing financial hardship or a sudden, exceptional crisis, some families in our community need a boost. The financial barriers are significant, and we don’t expect that to decrease given the current economic climate.

In order to provide tuition assistance we rely entirely on funds allocated within the school budget and the sacrifice of faithful donors. We set aside 3% of tuition income for it each year.

Tuition assistance has been a priority at NCS since the school’s early days. Even now as we make plans for our future campus (stay tuned!), we continue to prioritize support through tuition assistance.

Education Without Barriers

Our deep hope is that no family seeking a Christ-centered education is ever denied it due to financial grounds. We are committed to keeping Christian education accessible.

  • We apply a tiered tuition structure with a significant sibling discount.

  • We also have provided an average of $140,750 annually in tuition assistance over the last four years.

  • Now, we are taking that commitment further, aiming to increase the amount we are able to give to families.

Creating Sustainable Support

We aren't just looking for a temporary fix. We are building a legacy.

Our goal is – over a number of years – to establish a $500,000 long-term fund with the Christian School Foundation. By investing this initial capital, we will generate a sustainable stream of funding from the interest accrued to support families year after year.

  • The Christian School Foundation manages and invests long-term funds on behalf of Canadian Christian schools, providing expert stewardship and strategic growth.

  • Assuming a conservative average return of 5%, the fund is projected to generate approximately $25,000 annually.

How it Helps

A dedicated fund allows support to grow alongside the need, rather than reacting year by year. It helps strengthen the school’s long-term financial stability. It also:

  • Opens the door to Christian education for families who might otherwise not be able to afford it.

  • Provides a sustainable source of tuition support for years to come.

  • Reduces pressure on the school’s operating budget.

  • Creates a lasting fund that grows and continues to bless future students.

  • Offers donors the opportunity to make a legacy gift with ongoing impact.

  • Reflects our community’s commitment to caring for and supporting one another.

Give Someone a Boost

We invite you to be a practical conduit of God’s love. Would you prayerfully consider a meaningful gift? Every gift, regardless of size, has the power to change a student’s life.

By giving to this $500,000 goal, you can build something lasting that blesses families for years to come.

Did you know ...

The school’s first tuition assistance program (established soon after the school started) came as a way for NCS to tithe the blessings that God had given the school.

"After becoming a single mom, I couldn't afford to send my kids to the Christian school, but I also couldn't fathom sending them anywhere else after what we'd been through. I knew they needed Jesus' love and healing on a daily basis to not only function, but to eventually learn and thrive.

"We were offered a bursary. It was a huge sense of relief that I could send my kids to the Christian school where the foundational beliefs were biblically based and the love and prayers of the teachers and staff would wrap around my kids in their most influential years.

"Thank you for giving me hope, peace of mind, God's love, renewed trust and thriving kids who get to break statistics."
