2) Before coming to NCS
My degree has allowed me to have many different jobs over the years; however, I find working with students the most rewarding. I have been teaching English online to students in Asia for the last two years while tutoring local elementary children with a focus on improving literacy skills.
3) Favorite thing about my work
It is a joy to help students. I get to watch them learn, grow, and become more confident as they gain skills that they will use as adults. Supporting students is very rewarding.
4) If I were a crayon ...
I would be blue. Blue reminds me of a calm and happy sky and the consistent determination of the ocean.
5) Secret talent or party trick
I can play the saxophone.
6) Hobbies
I am a hobby crafter. I really enjoy paper quilling.
7) God has been teaching me
He is teaching me to stress less by focusing more on the now and less on the future.
