Thank you to the volunteer parents, grandparents, board members, and staff who made it a fun night.
What a beautiful fall evening it was September 19 for the school's annual Fun Fair! More than 1,200 people from our Nanaimo Christian School community came out for the meet-the-teacher carnival night.
This event would not be possible without generous donations to offset costs and the help of parents and grandparents filling more than 200 volunteer shifts ... serving hot dogs, baking cupcakes, making cotton candy, doing face painting, supervising bouncy castles, setting up, cleaning up, and lots more! Thank you!
Sending out a big thank you to those who donated cash, cupcakes, and other items!
Our volunteer organizing committee: Larissa Sevenhuysen, Aimee Rounding, and Karen Kangas
The Deibert family -- hot dog buns
Sydney Blackey -- chocolate milk
Our NCS grandparents' group who served cotton candy
Vendors -- Inflatafun, Romper Room, Joann the Balloon Twister & Clown
Special guests -- Marigold the therapy dog in training, Benson the NCS Panther Mascot
We're so grateful for everyone's enthusiasm, generosity, and new friendships being made!
