Trail Blazers ride in cross-country and Enduro races in Victoria as NCS makes first-ever biking Provincials appearance.
The Mountain Bike Provincial Championships were held on May 26th & 27th at the Jordie Lund Park in Victoria. Not only is this the first time Nanaimo Christian School has attended this competition, it is also the first time that NCS has competed in the sport.
Two riders represented NCS at Provincials, Reid Elston and Robert Williams, both in grade 9. The competition included both a XC (cross-country) and an Enduro race. Both students had been training around the Nanaimo area for the past few weeks and were able to compete with approximately 80 other riders.
