Plumbing fixes, investment strategies, firefighting and entrepreneurship are among the topics students explored.
Nanaimo Christian School high school students embarked on an exciting journey into the realm of "adulting" in February with a series of Adulting Week workshops designed to equip them with essential life skills beyond the classroom.
This year's Level Up! themed conference started with an opening keynote address by comedian Matt Falk and house team games with next-level challenges. Students took part in sessions led by industry experts in various fields. Friday’s service day was students' opportunity to get out and serve others, as a light in the community -- making pet beds for SPCA, doing landscaping work, and lots more.
NCS staff heard from many community members over the course of the week that our students are lovely, engaged teens with amazing things to offer. Well done, students!
Students learned about a wide range of exciting and practical topics, including:
Entrepreneurship
