On December 2 students saw how God used their work to bless others.
On high school service day on December 2 teachers planned a variety of opportunities for students to serve others at NCS and throughout Nanaimo. Students were able to choose from shovelling snow, tidying beaches, working with younger students, and making care packages among a variety of other opportunities. God used this to answer prayers of others.
“What a blessing to be able to serve our community, as a community. Sometimes we don’t know how God is working, but He always has a plan. One elderly couple were in tears as we offered to help shovel after they had prayed for help with their very long and steep driveway that very morning!” -- NCS high school student
