As a level 1 funded school in the province of BC, Nanaimo Christian School receives 50% of the student grant given to local public schools. NCS must raise additional operational funds from tuition fees and donations to cover programs, services and costs such as building utilities, maintenance and expansion.

NCS is a registered Canadian charitable organization, so your gifts are tax deductible. For BC residents, all donations in excess of $200 attract a tax savings of 45.8%.

It’s easy and secure to make an immediate or monthly donation* at the link below. Please note that a processing fee is automatically deducted for all online and credit card donations. For large donations, please consider contacting the school office to pay via e-transfer, debit, cheque or cash.

Gifts in-kind
NCS appreciates non-cash contributions of goods and services because they free up funds that would’ve been used to purchase those things. You can donate food for an event, a theatre production prop, or something else of value.
Securities & mutual fund shares
A donation of securities or mutual fund shares is the most efficient way to give since the capital gains tax does not apply. It means a larger donation for NCS and a larger charitable tax receipt for you. Contact us at 250.754.4512 ext. 120 or development@ncsnanaimo.com or your broker about an electronic transfer.

Planned giving
Leave a legacy. Give to NCS in your will, estate or when setting up a charitable annuity or trust. We have a partnership with Christian Stewardship Services, whose advisors can help at no charge. Watch the video.
Memorial or honorary gifts
Make a gift in memory or in honour of a loved one. Families can establish a memorial tribute to commemorate a significant family event or milestone.
*Receipts for online donations are issued immediately at the time of donation. Receipts for other types of donations are issued and sent to you in February of the year following your donation.

Gym advertising

Spring dinner & auction
This fun annual event brings together our community to raise money for a specific NCS initiative. Donate a good or service for the auction. Or receive recognition as a corporate sponsor of the event.
