Sports Field Behind the School

Nanaimo Christian School is thrilled to invite all NCS families, grandfriends, alumni and pastors to one of the most exciting evenings of the year — our annual Fun Fair back-to-school barbecue and carnival! Meet the teachers. Have fun with your school friends and meet new ones. We’re expecting 1,200+ people at this epic free event. We can’t wait to see you there! Find details HERE.

Here’s What’s In Store:

• Fun Activities - Bouncy castles, dunk bucket, maze, obstacle course, carnival games hosted by teachers, face painting & crazy hair stations, open gym, and the ever-popular cupcake walk, garden tours.

• Sweet Treats & Dinner Options - Hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, shave ice, chips & drinks. (gluten-free & vegetarian options available!)

• Live Auction - Join us at 6:30 pm in the upper parking lot as we auction off our 3 reserved NCS parking spaces, a weekend getaway, and front row tickets to the NCS musical, opera and Christmas concert. To register as a bidder please email jamie.moore@ncsnanaimo.com

This is a Family Event

To keep it safe and fun for everyone, parents are asked to stay with their children throughout the evening and kindly leave pets at home — they’ll have to hear all about the fun later!

It takes a joyful team of 200+ volunteers to make the Fun Fair happen — and there’s still time to join in! Whether it’s helping with set-up, running a game, or supervising the foam pit, your time and energy help bring this event to life. Sign up to volunteer here!

Parking Details

Parking is limited. To help keep our families safe here’s what to expect:

• SUVs & Trucks → park on the Holland Road Field (uneven ground)

• Cars → use the NCS Lower Parking Lot & surrounding side streets.

• The NCS Upper Lot is reserved for auction winners & families with accessibility needs.
