Students and staff will explore what it means to believe in Jesus, trust God, and stand firmly on the truth of His Word.

“'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes." – Matthew 5:14-16

This year’s theme at Nanaimo Christian School is Believe. Throughout the year, watch for the theme in classroom projects, in chapel messages, on the field and the stage, in acts of service and moments of worship, and in the everyday ways students and staff live out their faith.

Head of School, Mike Campbell, introduced the theme at opening chapel on the first day of school, setting the stage for a year of growing in faith and learning what it means to live out what we believe. Students also worshipped together singing this year’s theme song, I Believe by Phil Wickham.

Believe at NCS is …

  • Knowing Jesus and growing in a lasting relationship with Him.

  • Trusting God and standing firmly on the truth of His Word.

  • Living by faith, even when we cannot see the whole picture.

  • Allowing what we believe to shape our words, choices, relationships, and actions.

  • Encouraging one another when faith feels strong -- and when we need a little help believing.

  • Recognizing God at work and choosing to trust Him in every season.

We’re excited to walk alongside students as they deepen their faith, build a lasting relationship with Jesus, and discover what it truly means to believe.
