Sports Field Behind the School

Nanaimo Christian School is thrilled to invite all NCS families to one of the most exciting evenings of the year — our annual Fun Fair! This is more than just an event — it’s a celebration of our amazing NCS community. Whether you’re a returning family or brand new this fall, we can’t wait to see you there!

Bring the whole family for an evening packed with laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories. Meet teachers, reconnect with friends, and make new ones as we kick off the school year together — NCS-style!

Here’s what’s in store:

• Foam Pit (bring a towel and maybe a change of clothes!)

• Rolling fun in Zorb / Hamster Balls

• Rock Climbing Wall for the daring

• Carnival Games hosted by our fantastic teachers

• A peaceful Quiet Zone at the Parent Cottages with Marigold the dog

• Face Painting & Crazy Hair stations

• The ever-popular Cupcake Walk

• Sweet treats: Cotton Candy & Popcorn

• Dinner options: Hot Dogs, Chips & Drinks (gluten-free & vegetarian options available!)

* Please Note: This is a family event. To keep it safe and fun for everyone, parents are asked to stay with their children throughout the evening and kindly leave pets at home — they’ll have to hear all about the fun later!

We Need YOU!

It takes a joyful team of over 200 volunteers to make the Fun Fair happen — and there’s still time to join in! Whether it’s helping with set-up, running a game, or supervising the foam pit, your time and energy help bring this event to life. Sign up to volunteer here!

Parking Details

Parking is limited, to help keep our families safe here’s what to expect:

• SUVs & Trucks → park on the Holland Road Field (uneven ground)

• Cars → use the NCS Lower Parking Lot & surrounding side streets.

• The NCS Upper Lot is reserved for auction winners & families with accessibility needs.

Admission by Donation

The Fun Fair is made possible by your generous donations. Every dollar helps cover event costs so we can keep the fun going year after year. You can donate at the event via cash, e-transfer (accounting@ncsnanaimo.com note: fun fair), debit or credit. Donate online here

As a Level 1-funded independent school, NCS receives only 50% of the per-student funding that public schools receive. Your tuition and donations help bridge the gap — funding the programs, facilities, and events that make our school thrive.
