For the first time in NCS history we had a golf team compete at the Island Golf Championships
On May 11th the Nanaimo Christian School golf team participated in the first Island Championship of our school's history. While our team is young (grade 8-11) they competed at the senior level (grade 11/12) at the Championship held at Olympic View Golf Course. While this course is challenging the golfers were able to shoot well and just missed the opportunity to reach provincials.
A special congrats to Sam Kurytnik who tied for first overall with a 81 stroke finish for the course.
