Students welcomed grandparents and grandfriends to campus for a memorable morning.
On May 14 grandparents and grandfriends filled Nanaimo Christian School with joy. It was a great morning marked by connection, gratitude, and celebration.
Grandparents and grandfriends began their visit with coffee and volunteer-baked treats in the gym. They wandered the Future Famous K-12 art exhibit then visited classrooms for fun learning activities. Many stopped in at the library for the book fair and at the outdoor photo booth to capture a moment with their grandchild.
The day ended with a program in the gym highlighting student gifts and God’s ongoing work in our school community, including:
Opening prayer and devotional
Student band performance
High school students sharing about the Belize service trip
Grade 3-5 musical performance
Highlights from the head of school
Trailblazer Trek updateÂ
Thank you to every grandparent and special grandfriend who joined us and made the day memorable! Thanks for being part of our school community. NCS is shaped by faith, prayer, and generations of people like you who make a difference in students’ learning and lives.
